-Big weekend coming up! This Saturday, March 31st,  the Independent Music Awards ceremony takes place at Lincoln Center. K Sloan's Blank Pages  (produced by Swang for RSP Experiment) is nominated in the Urban EP category. Keep your fingers crossed for us! That's not all though. Sunday, April 1st sees the release of the latest from Jason Gill. The single "Fools" (produced by Swang) is now available for pre-order on ITunes, Amazon and Google Play. -Is it an April Fools Day prank, or isn't it? April 1st sees the release of the next analog-sweetened tape-recorded hit by the one and only Jason Gill. The timely-titled new single "Fools" was produced, arranged and mixed by Swang for RSP Experiment. Featuring Lou Clark on drums, Rob Collazo on bass with Jason and Swang on guitars, we know you're gonna feel this one! Preview below:

-March has started with a bang! The Family Stone kicked off their 2018 tour with 2 shows aboard the Celebrity Summit's Flower Power Cruise! It was great to meet and greet fans, celebs and staff. Swang was welcomed with open arms. Good times! Now it's back to NYC to continue work on some exciting projects. CC Eve's EP is ready for mixing, and Jason Gill's next release is prepped for mastering. End of the month, Swang and K Sloan head to the Independent Music Awards ceremony at Lincoln Center. Say your prayers and cross your fingers as K's EP Blank Pages is up for an award in the Urban EP category! Lots to do before the Family Stone heads to Panama City Beach, Florida for this year's Seabreeze Jazz Fest on April 20th. Back to work we go. Ok, bye!!!

-Big news! It's official. The Blank Pages EP by the amazing K Sloan and produced by Swang for RSP Experiment is nominated in the Urban EP category at this year's The Independent Music Awards. Thank you to everyone supported us, listened to and shared the music. Special thank you to all of the 20 musicians and vocalists who participated in creating the EP. The Independent Music Awards ceremony takes place March 31st at Lincoln Center. Wish us luck!

-New Year, New Music! "Favorite Drug" - the new single from singer/songwriter/guitarist Jason Gill drops February 15th! Produced by Swang for RSP Experiment, this bumpin' track features the amazing Colin Taylor on drums, Craig Dreyer on sax, Dave Smith on trumpet with Swang on synths, percussion and 2nd guitar alongside Jason himself. Recorded to 2 inch tape last summer at Mighty Toad Studio, Brooklyn USA! We've been chomping at the bit to release this one so make sure you cue it up next Thursday! And of course, there is more analog goodness to come!

December 2017

-The first annual RSP Experiment Artist Showcase at the Bitter End was a tremendous success! Thanks to all of our performers - Gene Taylor, CC Eve, Tizdale, K Sloan and the Melodics and Jason Gill - and all who attended for your support and love. There will be more events in the future. In the meantime, K Sloan's Blank Pages EP is available everywhere now. Jason Gill's single drops in February with Gene Taylor's debut single hitting a week later. CC Eve's EP (co-produced by Andy Bauer) heads your way 1st quarter 2018 (right about the time Tizdale and Swang wrap production on his EP).

-The first annual RSP Experiment artist showcase will take place Wednesday, December 6th at the legendary Bitter End. Hosted by Swang, the evening will feature performances by our roster of talented artists: Gene Taylor, CC Eve, K Sloan & the Melodics and Jason Gill. With special guests and a dazzling all-star jam, this promises to be a musical night not-to-be-missed. See you there!

-The Family Stone's brand new website featuring Swang went live this week. Check it out by clicking the link below. The band's 50th anniversary tour continues with stops in Florida and Arizona in the coming weeks. Tour dates will be added to this website soon as well as more pics and videos. Stay tuned!

-In between tour dates with The Family Stone, Swang is working on some awesome new projects in the studio. Along with the amazing Andy Bauer, Swang is co-producing the upcoming EP by the phenomenal CC Eve! But that's not all! Singer/songwriter Gene Taylor has announced his crowd-funding campaign for his own Swang-produced EP. Click the link below to contribute!

-The incredible news is out! Swang has happily accepted an invitation to join the legendary Family Stone as their lead singer and keyboardist. Anyone who knows Swang knows how important the music of Sly and the Family Stone is to him. To be asked to travel the world playing this phenomenal catalog of songs with musicians who helped create it is a dream come true. The Family Stone is on the road now, and tour dates can be found at the link below. More dates will be added in the coming weeks so catch Swang with the Family Stone when they come to your town!

-"Take Me Back to Summertime", K Sloan's hit single produced by Swang, is featured in the massive new Lee Cooper Autumn Winter 2017 ad campaign. Big love to Hummingbird Music UK for making it happen. "Take Me Back" is the 2nd single from the Blank Pages EP which is available on Spotify, I-Tunes, Amazon, Google Play, CD Baby and wherever you listen to great music. -Earlier this year, Swang had the pleasure of being invited to participate in a live-in-studio session with the mighty Token Johnson at Triple Colossal Studios in Hoboken, NJ. Led by drummer-for-the-stars Dylan Wissing, this collective is made up of some of the best session players on the planet. The full-length performance (our take on the Stevie Wonder classic "Superstition") will be posted soon. Meantime, enjoy a sneak peek!

-More great news! "Motown Baby", K Sloan's infectious tribute to the musical force of her home city of Detroit, is also eligible for a nomination at this year's Independent Music Awards. This is the 2nd tune from the Swang-produced EP Blank Pages to qualify for the honor.

-It's here! At long last, Blank Pages, the new EP by the incomparable singer-songwriter K Sloan, is released. The EP, produced, arranged and mixed by Swang for RSP Experiment, was recorded over the course of 8 months. The sessions were recorded to tape at Mighty Toad Studio in Brooklyn, NY with the awesome Craig Dreyer engineering. Additional overdubs and mixing took place at RSP-NYC. A total of 20 outstanding musicians and vocalists participated in the recording with Swang himself playing drums, percussion, bass, keys and guitar on the majority of the tracks. K and Swang wish to thank all of their friends, followers, families and fans for their tireless support for this labor of love.
